Who is God? What is needed to receive His forgiveness? How does He show His love? These poems are meant to help you get to know God. Yes, He does care for you and wants to be with you but you need to open your heart and accept Him.
God is the source of all that is
The creator of the cosmos and the bliss
The sustainer of life and the giver of grace
The judge of the world and the lover of mankind
God is beyond our comprehension and our sight
The mystery of the Trinity and the light
The transcendent and the immanent one
The eternal and the present one
God is revealed in Jesus Christ
The Word made îesh and the sacriíce
The redeemer of humanity and the Lord of all
The risen and the coming one
God is at work in the Holy Spirit
The comforter of the broken and the merit
The sanctiíer of the church and the guide of truth
The power and the fruit
God is the nature of love and holiness
The essence of beauty and goodness
The standard of justice and righteousness
The source of joy and happiness
God is the nature of all that is
The alpha and omega and the bliss
The beginning and the end and the middle too
The one who loves me and you
Who is God? What is needed to receive His forgiveness? How does He show His love? These poems are meant to help you get to know God. To help you understand God's love for us. His interaction in our lives is confusing at times. We are pulled so many directions, it is hard to know what is what and what is not. But if you just look at the complexity in nature, the intricacies of a butterflies wing, the complexity of a single cell, you can see God at work all around us.
I hope these poems help you get to know and understand God better. In order to be anyone's friend, you need to spend time with them and get to know them. The same is true with God, spend time with Him and get to know Him thru His word and His nature and He will be your friend.
