A book to read to your child and introduce him to the wonders of God and His creation of the universe, our planet, animals, plants and us.
In the beginning, God had a plan,
To make a world for every man.
He said, "Let there be light!" and there was light.
And He saw that it was good and bright.
He made the sky and the sea and the land
He separated them with His hand.
The poem continues through the six days of creation and the seventh when He rested. Each page has a vivid image that offers opportunities to interact with your child. Ask them questions such as "who has fins? feet? wings?" "Who is fast? Slow?" Where is the water, the land? The clouds?
The rhythm of the poem and the many rhymes make it enjoyable to read outloud. I hope you enjoy and have many a good night reading with your little one.
