Ivor L. Livingston, Ph.D., M.P.H., C.H.E.S.
Dr. Livingston began his formal educational journey at the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus, Certificate in Psychology). He later went on in sequence to Howard University (B.S., M.S., & Ph.D. in Medical Sociology and Social Epidemiology), then to the School of Public Health at Harvard University (with a specialization in Behavioral Public health), and later to the School of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University (with a Post-Doctoral Fellowship/Certificate in Cardiovascular Social Epidemiology). He is a Nationally Certified health E (CHES) educator through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialling, Inc.
Currently, in the academic arena, Dr. Livingston is a Full Professor of Medical Sociology and Social Epidemiology at Howard University. he is a nationally and internationally recocognized academician, scholar, author and seminar/conference presenter and participant. He is especially recognized for his work in the area of the social epidemiology (origins and distribution) of chronic and infectious diseases and health outcomes (e.g., hjypertension, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, depression, alcholism, lifestyle alterations, coaching and stress management). To date, Dr. Livingston has written over 50+ scholarly articles in his field and has directly or indirectly authored many books.
In addition to his University affiliation, since 2018, Dr. Livingston has been an Internet Marketer, Lifestyle and Self-Development Coach in all areas that deal with improving self-development and individuals' overall quality of life. He is CEO of the parent organization, StressHealth Solutions International, or SHSI, LLC. Under SHSI, a variety of webinars are run and a main focus of SHSI, and through its affiliate entities, a main focus is bringing to the market place and selling E-Books that focus on all aspectsof self-development, self-improvement and hjealth.
