Bob has had an interesting work history that includes Registered Stockbroker, Personal Income Tax advisor, sales, sales manager and business owner. He has enjoyed several stints in both radio and TV, trained new employees and written many books, all non-fiction, so far. Bob enjoys travel (and hopes we can back to it soon), cooking and a good glass of red wine. He threatens to return to the golf course soon, as well. For Bob, learning has never stopped and formal school was simply a good way to stay out of the rain and snow. The internet and its constantly expanding opportunities to continue his education are a dream come true. He knows that to be an excellent writer, we must first be avid readers, and he has been fulfilling that requirement since he first entered a library at about 8 or 9 years of age.
Bob likes to concentrate his writing efforts in the personal and financial growth areas to utilize his experience, common sense, and sometimes questionable humor. He is married with 2 children and twin grandsons, lives in the foothills of the Rockies in Western Canada. He has had the good fortune of travelling to many of his favourite places in the world and completed a Mediterranean cruise a few months before the covid pandemic changed travel as we knew it. He recently retired from a position with the federal income tax department and now continues to write, learn about online possibilities and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
