Imagine being able to create artistic wall art or hand crafted cards by simply coloring. What you can do AFTER coloring these lovely coloring sheets is just as exciting as coloring them. I like to use metallic inks, glitter inks, and brightly colored gel inks when filling in these coloring sheets for my mindfulness and stress reduction activities because many of them will be used to make greeting cards to send to friends and family. Needless to say, the artist in me always goes to the next step; what will I do with them after they're colored? I designed the August coloring patterns for adults like myself, but many teens enjoy them too. I've found that coloring is a fun afterschool activity. The little kids get easy coloring sheets and I have my own. My nieces and nephew (ages: 6, 6, 7, and 8) are always in awe of the patterns I'm coloring and tell me "what a good job" I'm doing. :) It doesn't matter if you're coloring them to make greeting cards, wall art, or just to relieve stress and boredom, the important thing is to just do it. Activity leads to better thoughts and greater things. Be active and enjoy the journey!
