Microgreens are vegetables harvested at an early stage when they are packed full of the most nutrients your body needs and they are delicious too. They are easy to grow year-round inside for all year enjoyment in salads, smoothies you name it.
Microgreens are known for their nutritional value added to any meal or smoothie you desire. They can be grown outdoors when season and weather are favorable but also can be grown inside very easily for year-round enjoyment and nutrition-packed garnishes and spice added to everyday foods. They are great in salads, soups and more. They contain higher amounts of vitamins, minerals, and polyphenols as high as 40% than their fully mature counterparts. They are an excellent dietary addition to your diet. There are MANY microgreens that can be grown and inside there is a list of some of them inside including the top 10 most favored. This could become a family hobby that everybody enjoys growing and eating healthy foods together.
I found this very informative as I didn't even know about Microgreens til I saw this book.
