Have you ever thought about tracing the line of humanity from the beginning of Genesis 4?
Genesis 4 opens us up to how humanity started its development. The exploration of humankind
began when God declared in Genesis 3:22 from the Message Bible, “God said, “The Man has
become like one of us, capable of knowing everything, ranging from good to evil…”. God’s
declaration about “The Man” is interesting because Adam (the first man) was a living soul. God’s
Breath (Spirit) is in an earthly-designed body. The situation we run into here is whether God
clothed himself in the formed man from the dust, or was it another spirit other than Himself
that he blew in the formed man that became a living soul? To continue, Adam’s original purpose
was to take care of the earth, Genesis 2:5. Within this purpose, there was no mention of good
nor evil in the conducting of the purpose. In Luke 3, Adam is declared the son of God (Priest of
God) and, by extension, the son of Man (the ruler of the earth), the physical image of the
invisible God, Christ. It is noted that the son of Man is the designated title for the office of
