Dr. Harold L. Fisher has been a professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas for the last twelve years, and has been teaching part-time for multiple universities online for the last twelve years. He is also a full-time Core Faculty member and a dissertation chair at the American College of Education. Prior to becoming a professor, he taught in K-12 for a total of eight years.
He received his doctorate degree in teacher leadership from Walden University, a master’s degree in education from American Intercontinental University in instructional technology, a master’s degree in education from Our Lady of the Lake University with dual majors in curriculum and instruction, and master technology teaching, and a third master’s degree in organizational leadership from Baptist Bible Seminary. He finished his Bachelors of Science degree in biblical studies from the College of Biblical Studies, and has a teacher certification in Business Education from Texas State University.
Dr. Fisher was the recipient of the 2009 Teacher of the Year award in Spring I.S.D. and the 2009 Teacher of the year for the Spring I.S.D. Virtual High School, featured as the 2009 Teacher of the Month (June) by KPRC Channel 2 Houston, and in 2009 he was recognized by Harris County Region 4 as Teacher of the Year. He is also the author of seven books in the field of education.
