Ian Damerell is a professional artist living and working in Oslo, Norway, and Vilnius, Lithuania.
His focus is drawing, often with elements of collage and painting.
As a professor of art, he is currently associated with Vilnius Art Academy.
He has been a professor of art at Goldsmith's College of Art, at the Royal College of Art, and at Oslo Metropolitan University, Faculty of Technology, Art and Design.
Originating from Wales, his art studies culminated at the Royal College of Art, London.
Having recently published the art philosophy book 'Unfolding the Cards', he now concentrates on visual art projects, supplemented by writing.
He lectures on art philosophy throughout Europe.
