Born To Teach
Welcome to the 21st-century also known as the Knowledge Age.
The 20th-century was the Information Age. During the Information Age knowledge of all subjects was shared via computer technology.
The problem with Martial Arts was that the teachings of the ancient masters were mostly kept secret to their family or several trusted students. Many of the ancient master's teaching was lost, misinterpreted, mistranslated, or filled with mistakes. This made today's students frustrated who are seeking the real Kung Fu.
Teaching all subjects in the Knowledge Age including Kung Fu needs to change. The biggest challenge begins by changing one's mindset. The student must know when, where, why, and how to train Kung Fu. The old ways of teaching orally and physical training take too long to get results.
Sifu Greg Yau designed Focus Meditation to address the problem with the old ways of teaching Kung Fu. The problem was solved by reverse-engineering the Wing Chun Kung Fu system. The old method of teaching was to learn Internal Power with the application of the acupuncture points and deep breathing last.
Focus meditation teaches Internal Power first. Sifu Greg's students learn Internal Power first thus training becomes fun too. It also saves his students a lot of time. Instead of taking 10 years or more to achieve Internal Power, it now takes a month to or less depending on the student training habit.
Sifu Greg Yau has been teaching the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu for over 45 years. He has also been practicing Acupuncture, Dit Ta herbal medicine, and Chi Gung for over 35 years. Sifu Greg Yau is now ready to share his knowledge with the world. His vision is to create a Wing Chun Internal Power system that is easy and effective to learn fast.
