For some fifty years I have cultivated fruit in two houses, one with a south facing garden and then the other with a north facing garden. Both gardens were about 100 feet long so I had some space to play with.
During the time I was working and had a family which meant that I had limited time to devote to the fruit garden.
None the less each year it did me proud in the production of raspberries, black and red currents, gooseberries and blackberries of the soft fruit and apples and plums of the fruit from trees.
All this experience I reflect in my books
