Leon Powe came into this world in 1984, his home town Oakland California where he became the men he is today. He grew up loving the game of basketball but the game of life hits different then any sport he could play. His love for life, his willness to be open to new ideas that would help him become an NBA Champion for the Boston Celtics in 2008, One of the best accomplishments of his career. Basketball took him all over the world and give a whole new perspective on life then before, Leon Powe do not believe you should stay down when life hit with an overhand Left or Right hook, what you should do is get back up and start to build something that you can be proud of. Leon Powe got up and bulid a foundation on helping others and giving back to the youth with advice he learned along the way, now working for the boston celtics in front office as a team ambassador and community leader, while also working in sports broadcasting with (NESN After Hours) show. Mr. Powe will now trun his attention to books that help with everyday life and create self skills and motivational tools for youg kids and adults as well, with the love and passion he feels everyday when starting something new or just the life lessons he picked up growing up in Oakland, and as a student at The University Of Berkeley California, his work will speak to you.
