My name is Gamelin Hutton. I was born in India. In 1940 My father was with the Royal Engineers and my mother was a teacher, I spent the first ten years of my life in India, before my family returned to England where I lived in London, later to join the navy and sailed the world, caught tuberculosis and spent a year in a TB Sanatorium, later to meet Marilyn my wife settle down. I hope you will enjoy my books.
I have experience many wonders of this world in my lifetime from the boiling geysers of New Zealand, to one hundred foot waves at sea, I’ve seen the wonder in the eyes of a new born baby and the mutilated body of a human corpse after being savaged by a wild animal in the jungle, at under the age of five years old. I’ve travelled on steam trains for days at a time across India, I’ve been in a hot air balloon, travelled in helicopters, air taxies, and jumbo jets, I’ve seen and been on beautiful ocean liners across the world. I’ve seen volcano’s erupting and spitting fire, I’ve seen the ocean as calm as a sheet of glass. I’ve seen the Sunrise and Sunset over the Sea. I’ve seen the beauty in snow and frost and felt the warmth of Sunshine.
I have seen so many changes over my lifetime and have many memories. One thing that I’ve seen that has meant the most to me is the smile on the face and in the eye’s of my wonderful wife Marilyn. I remember the day she quietly cried when her father died, I could see the hurt in her tears.
